Inspired by the bold combination of black and white, today's wedding feature is perfect for the fashion-forward bride looking for a modern twist on her wedding.

Traci took her talents to the road and designed a destination wedding in Naples! In an unbelievable transformation, the couples five car garage was transformed into a reception hall to entertain the wedding guests. Traci's visionary design was composed of a bold color scheme with clean lines, geometric shapes and organic details.

Honestly, it is a testament to her hard work and design talent to see the transformation. The backdrop of the beautiful property enhanced the overall family-style feeling of the event. A tent was added to the outside of their garage to extend the reception area.

Reception Hall Decor

This is a look from inside the garage area into the tent, and it looks like one complete room.

Color Palette

The bold pattern of choice to create this modern inspired wedding was black and white stripes. Notice the drapery around the hall was hung in a striped pattern of black and white, and the lanterns and table cloths carry the same black and white pattern.  Create a modern theme by choosing a bold pattern and sticking with it.

To offset the bold colors and patterns, Traci added organic pops of green in the floral arrangements, table cloths and lanterns. Don't be afraid to go bold, but complement it with softer color and texture pops.

Decorations

Traci covered every inch of the garage in fabric. The fabric was long enough to be gathered at the floor to create a very elegant look and soften the boldness of the pattern.

The design was created with cozy home décor details such as vintage inspired furniture which seamlessly blended with the clean, modern lines of black and white stripes and geometric shapes.

Guests were treated to an outdoor lounge area.

The vintage inspired furniture placed throughout the venue created a warm family-style environment. The guest sign in table was welcoming and personal.

Traci used a vintage hutch for the candy bar.

Guests were able to take pictures and post them in a book for the bride and groom to keep.
